Ashes Jewellery
Ashes jewellery is one of the most personal ways to keep a loved one close. At Ashes With Art, every piece of ashes jewellery is handcrafted in the UK using your loved one's cremation ashes — never resin, never outsourced, and always with the care and dignity your loved one deserves.
MEMORIAL JEWELLERY WITH ASHES
What sets our ashes jewellery apart is how it's made. We use sealed chamber construction and kiln-fired glass rather than resin, which means your loved one's ashes are permanently and securely held within the piece. Each item is crafted in hallmarked precious metals — solid gold, sterling silver, or platinum — and arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity. From the moment your loved one's ashes reach our workshop to the moment your finished jewellery is returned to you, we maintain full chain-of-custody. Every piece is designed, made, and finished in-house in the UK.
Our collection includes ashes rings for everyday wear, ashes necklaces and pendants close to the heart, ashes bracelets you can keep with you wherever you go, and a dedicated pet ashes jewellery range for the four-legged members of the family. Many designs can be made using cremation ashes or a lock of hair — and several can be commissioned bespoke.
The process is straightforward. You choose your piece, send us a small portion of your loved one's ashes (we only need a teaspoon — the rest stays with you), and we craft your jewellery in-house over the following weeks. We'll keep you informed at every stage, and any unused ashes are returned with your finished piece.
We believe memorial jewellery should be made to last generations. That's why we work only with hallmarked precious metals, source ethically, and design pieces that can be passed down — not just kept. Every Ashes With Art piece is a true heirloom.
CHOOSE WITH CONFIDENCE
Handing over a loved one's ashes can feel daunting, and we'll put you at ease every step of the way. Everyone in our studio has lost someone they loved — and we treat every set of ashes that comes through our door with the same care we'd want for our own. Careful labelling, secure handling, and full chain-of-custody from the moment your ashes arrive to the moment your finished piece is returned.
ASHES JEWELLERY FAQ's
Ashes jewellery is fine jewellery that holds a small portion of your loved one's cremation ashes. At Ashes With Art, every piece is handcrafted in the UK using sealed chamber construction or kiln-fired glass — not resin — so the ashes are permanently and securely held within the piece. Each item is hallmarked and arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity, designed to last as a family heirloom.
Each piece begins when your loved one's ashes arrive at our UK workshop. Depending on the design you've chosen, your ashes are either set into a sealed chamber within the precious metal piece, or fused into kiln-fired glass which is then mounted into the jewellery. Every piece is designed, made, and finished in-house — we never outsource. The process typically takes [X to Y] weeks, and we'll keep you informed at every stage.
Just a small amount — typically a teaspoon, regardless of how large or small the piece. Any unused ashes are returned to you with your finished jewellery. You don't need to send all of your loved one's ashes to make any of our pieces.
Our ashes jewellery starts at under £100 and our most expensive bespoke pieces are over £15,000. We genuinely have designs for every style and budget, and every piece is made to the same high standard regardless of price.
Yes. Sealed chamber construction means the ashes are permanently held within the piece — they can't leak, fall out, or be disturbed. Our jewellery is made from hallmarked precious metals (solid gold, sterling silver, or platinum) and is designed to be worn daily, just like any fine jewellery.
No — we are proud to create 100% resin-free ashes jewellery. Unlike many memorial jewellery companies, we do not use resin in our cremation jewellery designs. Instead, we specialise in kiln-fired memorial glass and sealed chamber ashes jewellery, where ashes, hair, or fur are permanently enclosed within the jewellery itself. We choose resin-free methods because resin can discolour, fade, cloud, crack, or degrade over time, while our jewellery is designed to be more durable, waterproof, colour-stable, and made to last for generations. You can learn more about why we choose resin-free methods in our Why We Don’t Use Resin guide.
