SIZING GUIDES
Choosing the right size ensures a perfect fit — but don’t worry if you’re unsure.
We include a free ring sizer in your Ashes Collection Pack, so you can still place your order and measure later. You can also visit our Worthing studio or any local jeweller for professional ring sizing.
We also offer a ring resizing service.
To find your bangle size, hold your hand as if putting on a bangle, wrap a soft tape around the widest part, note the measurement, convert it from circumference to diameter, and match it to the size chart on the product page.
For chains, explore our Chain Upgrades to view alternative styles. We recommend thicker chains for longer lengths and men’s jewellery for the best balance with the pendant.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept all major credit and debit cards, along with PayPal and Klarna (Pay in 3 or Pay Later) for flexible payment options. You can also use Apple Pay and Google Pay for a fast and secure express checkout experience.
Payment can be made online, over the phone, or during your studio appointment — whichever is easiest for you. We take full payment upfront, allowing our jewellers to begin crafting your memorial jewellery straight away.
For UK orders, all prices include luxury gift packaging, a free polishing cloth and free tracked delivery.
For international customers, please note that local import duties or taxes may apply when your finished piece is delivered.
ORDER TIMELINES
Once your ashes or hair arrive safely with us, our jewellers begin crafting your memorial jewellery.
You’ll receive updates at three key stages of the process:
- When we’ve received your order
- When your ashes or hair have arrived safely
- When your finished piece is ready to arrange delivery
On average, orders take 2–4 weeks to complete from the day we receive your ashes or hair.
Each piece is made entirely by hand, so production times can vary slightly depending on design and complexity.
If you have a special date in mind, please let us know — we’ll always do our best to accommodate your request. While we can’t guarantee exact delivery dates, we prioritise every order with the same level of care, precision, and respect.
FAQ - Ordering and Payment
Yes — you can still order your memorial jewellery even if you’re unsure of your size. Simply select “I’m unsure – please send me a ring sizer” on the product page, and we’ll include a free ring sizer in your Ashes Collection Pack. You can measure later before making begins.
We take full payment upfront, either online, over the phone, or during your studio appointment. This allows us to start making your jewellery straight away. If you prefer to spread the cost, you can use Klarna Pay-in-3 or PayPal Pay Later at checkout.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and Klarna, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay for fast, secure express checkout. Payment can be made online, over the phone, or in person at our Worthing studio.
Yes — you’re very welcome to visit our Worthing studio to place your order, view designs, or discuss ideas. We also offer Zoom consultations if you’d like to order remotely.
If you’d like to make changes, please contact us as soon as possible. We begin crafting quickly after receiving ashes or hair, so adjustments are best made early. Small changes, such as adding engraving, can usually be accommodated, though larger alterations may incur an additional charge.

Your UK Ashes Collection Pack includes a prepaid tracked returns label, making postage simple and secure.

If you’re based in the USA, there are two safe ways to send ashes or hair to us:
Option 1 – Send directly to our UK studio:
Use USPS International Tracked & Signed or another trusted courier.
We only need around a teaspoon of ashes or a small pinch of hair, even for multiple pieces. Clearly label with your name, order number, and contact details, then package securely before posting.
Option 2 – Order a USA Collection Pack:
Fast-track courier shipping both ways
Pre-labelled sealable ashes bag, spoon, ring sizer, and instructions
Secure return envelope and full tracking
Access to 40,000+ US drop-off points
Please note: import duties or customs fees may apply when your finished piece is delivered. We have adjusted pricing to help offset these costs.
SENDING ASHES FROM OUTSIDE THE UK AND USA
For all other countries, please use a reliable tracked courier service to send ashes or hair securely to our UK studio.
Send only a teaspoon of ashes or a small pinch of hair, sealed in a labelled bag with your name and order number.

International orders may be subject to local import duties or taxes when your finished jewellery is delivered.

THE MAKING PROCESS
Once your materials are safely received, our jewellers begin the process of transforming them into a lasting keepsake.
Each piece follows several careful stages — from fusing ashes within glass or setting them securely within metal, to engraving, polishing, and final quality checks.
You’ll receive email updates at each key stage, keeping you informed from start to finish.
MATERIALS AND FINISHING
All of our memorial jewellery is made using solid precious metals — including sterling silver, 9ct and 18ct gold, and platinum — all UK hallmarked for purity and authenticity.
Our unique ashes-in-glass gemstones are available in a wide range of colours and finishes, each hand-polished to perfection by our in-house glass specialists
CUSTOM ORDERS
If you’d like something completely unique, our designers can bring your ideas to life through our custom memorial jewellery service.
Whether you’d like to adapt one of our designs, change the metal or gemstone, or create an entirely bespoke piece, our team will guide you every step of the way.
FAQ - The Making Process
PRECIOUS METALS
We work exclusively with solid precious metals — sterling silver, 9ct and 18ct yellow, white, and rose gold, and platinum — each UK-hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office to confirm purity and authenticity.
Our metals are sourced from trusted UK suppliers and refined for exceptional strength and natural lustre. Whether you choose the warmth of gold or the enduring brilliance of platinum, your memorial jewellery will be made to last and remain as beautiful as the memories it holds.
ASHES IN GLASS GEMSTONES
Our ashes-in-glass gemstones are handcrafted by fusing a small amount of ashes within layers of glass, creating a distinctive stone with natural depth, colour, and light. We offer a wide palette of ashes glass colours and finishes — from soft pastels to rich jewel tones — so every gemstone is completely one-of-a-kind. Each piece of memorial jewellery is entirely personal, reflecting the unique story it holds.
DIAMONDS AND GEMSTONES
We hand-select every diamond and gemstone to meet our exacting standards for brilliance and quality. Our lab-grown diamonds are ethically sourced and graded a minimum of D–F colour (colourless), SI1 clarity, and Very Good (VG) cut or higher. Diamonds above 0.20ct include a verified IGI certificate for complete transparency and peace of mind.
Alongside diamonds, we offer a beautiful selection of emeralds, rubies, and coloured sapphires in a range of hues to suit your personal style.
To protect the planet, we work primarily with ethical lab-grown diamonds and gemstones. If you prefer mined stones, please contact our team to discuss bespoke options for your memorial jewellery.

We offer secure international delivery through a trusted International Priority Courier Service, ensuring your memorial jewellery arrives safely and on time, wherever you are in the world.

CANCELLATIONS
We begin work on your order as soon as possible after it’s placed.
For rings, this starts once we’ve received your ring size.
For glass keepsakes and artwork, work begins once we’ve received your ashes or hair.
For all other jewellery, crafting begins as soon as payment has been made.
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Orders that have not yet entered production can usually be cancelled and refunded in full.
Once your order has entered production — for example, after we’ve begun making or received your ashes or hair — refunds can no longer be offered due to the personalised, handcrafted nature of each piece.
If you’re unsure whether your order has entered production, our team will be happy to check for you and advise on your options.
REFUNDS & RETURNS
Because each memorial piece is made to order and personalised using ashes or hair, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds once the making process has begun.
For non-personalised products — such as chains, accessories, or non-ashes items — we can accept returns if they are unworn and returned within 30 days of receipt.
Refunds are processed to your original payment method once the returned item has been received and assessed.
FAULTS OR ISSUES
Every piece is made and quality-checked by hand before leaving our studio, but if you believe there is a fault with your jewellery, please contact us immediately.
Any confirmed manufacturing faults are fully covered by our 12-month guarantee, and we’ll repair or remake the item at no cost to you.
We’ll always handle any issues quickly, carefully, and with understanding.
REFUND TIMELINE
Refunds are usually processed within 5–10 working days after we confirm eligibility.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.
Processing times may vary slightly depending on your payment provider.

EVERYDAY JEWELLERY CARE
Your memorial jewellery is designed to be worn and loved every day, but gentle care will help preserve its beauty for life. We recommend removing your jewellery during exercise, cleaning, or heavy activity to prevent accidental knocks or loss.
When not being worn, store it in the soft travel pouch or jewellery box provided, keeping it separate from other pieces to avoid scratches.
For regular upkeep, gently clean your jewellery using a microfibre or polishing cloth to remove fingerprints and restore shine. For deeper cleaning or surface restoration, our jewellers can professionally polish, replate, or service your piece as part of our Full Jewellery Service.
We recommend booking a professional service once a year to maintain brilliance and ensure your jewellery stays in perfect condition for generations.
OUR GUARANTEE
Every Ashes With Art memorial jewellery piece includes a 12-month manufacturing guarantee, covering any faults in materials or craftsmanship. Each item is made by skilled jewellers using solid precious metals, hallmarked for purity and authenticity.
While general wear and tear isn’t covered, we can always assist with repairs, resizing, replating, or restoration. If your jewellery ever needs attention, please contact our team — we’ll ensure it’s cared for with the same precision and respect it was made with.
