Memorial Ashes Rings
Our cremation ashes rings are made two ways: a kiln-fired glass gemstone with your loved one's ashes visible within, or a discreet sealed chamber inside the band itself. Choose from over 100 designs in sterling silver, 9ct or 18ct gold and platinum — every ring handcrafted and hallmarked in our UK studio, available in every size, and exclusive to Ashes With Art. A beautiful, comforting way to keep them forever close at hand. And like all our jewellery, 100% resin-free.
MEMORIAL RINGS
Choosing a memorial ring for ashes is a deeply personal choice, and we will work with you during this difficult time to create the ideal tribute to your loved one. Our team appreciates the importance of creating cremation ashes rings that will be cherished for a lifetime. We offer many memorial rings for ashes to suit every style and budget.
As we use the very best traditional techniques to make our memorial rings, you can fully personalise our ashes rings with a choice of precious metals, engraving on the inside of most of our rings with ashes, diamonds, and precious gemstones of different shapes and sizes, and 16 choices of glass colours for those choosing an ashes ring with a glass gemstone. Our ashes rings are also available in every size.
If you're exploring different options, you can learn more about sealed chamber jewellery or compare resin and sealed chamber methods to understand the differences.
ASHES INTO RINGS
Handling your loved one’s ashes can be difficult, so we make this process as simple as possible for you. We can provide an order pack which contains everything you need to collect the ashes and send them to us in a Freepost returns envelope. We only need a teaspoon of ashes to make your memorial jewellery.
We have a full custom design service for those looking for a completely bespoke ashes ring.
FAQs FOR ASHES MEMORIAL RINGS
There's no rule — you can wear an ashes ring on whichever finger feels right. Many people choose the ring finger of the right hand, keeping the left free for a wedding band, while others wear their memorial ring stacked alongside an engagement or wedding ring as a lasting connection. Some prefer a little finger or middle finger simply because the fit and style suit them. Our ashes rings are made to order in every size, so whichever finger you choose, your ring will fit properly. If you'd like guidance on sizing or style, call us on 01903 216425.
Yes — every piece of gold ashes jewellery we make is fully hallmarked. UK law requires gold items over one gram to be independently tested and marked by an assay office, and we hallmark every piece regardless of weight. The hallmark is your guarantee that the metal is exactly what we say it is — 9ct or 18ct gold — verified by an independent authority, not just by us. With ashes rings, the hallmarking is completed first, then the ashes are added and the compartment permanently sealed, so the mark never disturbs your loved one's ashes. Our silver and platinum pieces are hallmarked too.
The difference is the amount of pure gold in the metal. 9ct gold is 37.5% pure gold, giving a lighter colour and a more affordable price, while 18ct is 75% pure gold — a richer, warmer tone and a noticeably weightier feel. Both are hallmarked, both are available in yellow, white or rose, and both hold your loved one's ashes in exactly the same way — the sealed compartment or glass gemstone is identical whichever carat you choose. 9ct suits everyday wear on a budget; 18ct suits a piece intended as a family heirloom. If you're unsure, call us on 01903 216425.
Yes — our gold ashes jewellery is available in yellow, white or rose, in your choice of 9ct or 18ct. Yellow gold is the classic warm tone, white gold has a cool silvery finish that pairs well with diamonds, and rose gold carries a soft blush colour that has become a popular modern choice. Whichever you choose, the piece is handcrafted to order, hallmarked, and holds your loved one's ashes in exactly the same way. If you're matching a memorial ring to a wedding band or an existing piece, call us on 01903 216425 and we'll help you find the closest match.
Yes — most of our gold ashes rings can be engraved on the inside of the band, adding a name, date or short message that sits privately against the skin. Engraving works beautifully on both 9ct and 18ct gold, and the same option is available on our silver and platinum pieces. Every sealed compartment is also engraved with our chamber marker — a small symbol showing exactly where your loved one's ashes rest within the piece. If you'd like to discuss wording or check whether your chosen design can be engraved, call us on 01903 216425 before you order.
