Am I able to have jewellery made from horse hair?
Yes, we have a large selection of jewellery that can be made with horse hair. From simple designs such as horse shoes to stunning diamond rings, our diverse selection of memorial jewellery is designed to suit every budget as well as style.
Can I have a necklace made with my horses hair?
Yes, necklaces are our most popular jewellery designs to be made with horse hair. We make the jewellery and once made we create a small chamber within the metal that we place the horse hair into. This is then permanently sealed with a laser welder which seals the hair permanently inside silver or gold. We are also able to make platinum horse hair necklaces.
Can I make a ring out of my horse hair?
You certainly can! Our horse hair rings are lovingly made by our specialist team of jewellers. You can choose from a large selection of ring designs. We make horse hair rings in silver gold, and platinum. Within the gold horse hair jewellery selection you can choose from yellow, rose or white gold in both 9ct and 18ct options. We place the horse hair inside the ring within a cavity that we seal closed forever. This allows us to create the most beautiful horse hair ring designs imaginable that look like traditional jewellery. Can I turn horse hair into a diamond?
You can turn horse hair into a diamond and we can arrange this for you. Our preferred approach though is slightly different and the end results are absolutely amazing! Our approach is to use the very highest quality diamonds to create you a stunning diamond ring or necklace. We then create a small chamber within the jewellery that we will fill with horse hair. This creates a diamond memorial with the same meaning as a horse hair diamond at a fraction of the cost. It also allows us to add further horse hair or ashes at a later date if you wish. The diamonds we use to make our horse hair diamond jewellery are all certified and incredible quality.
Does it matter if I use horse tail hair or mane hair for my memorial jewellery?
No it doesn't matter. You can provide any type of horse hair that you wish. All of our designs for horse hair can also be made with horse ashes or both hair and ashes.
Will I be able to see the horse hair within my jewellery?
We hide the horse hair within the jewellery so you won't be able to see it. The benefits of this are that this style of memorial jewellery is very discreet. No one will need to know that it contains horse hair. The horse hair cannot be lost or damaged as it is hidden within the jewellery and cannot be removed.
Do you make horse hair jewellery with resin?
Horse hair jewellery with resin is not something we do as resin is a pourable plastic and not suitable for jewellery that needs to last. Unfortunately resin will fade in sunlight and scratch very easily. Over time, the resin that holds the horse hair can shrink and fallout of the setting. Whilst companies that make horse hair jewellery with resin claim that it is suitable, you will find that these companies tell you not get your jewellery wet. Good horse hair jewellery is able to get wet without any issues at all
