Pet Ashes Jewellery
Pet ashes jewellery is one of the most personal ways to keep a beloved companion close — and as pet owners ourselves, we know what that means. At Ashes With Art, every piece is handcrafted in the UK using your pet's cremation ashes or fur, never resin and never outsourced, with the care your companion deserves.
PET OWNERS, OURSELVES
Handing over a loved one's ashes can feel daunting, and we'll put you at ease every step of the way. Everyone in our studio has lost someone they loved — and we treat every set of ashes that comes through our door with the same care we'd want for our own. Thousands of families have entrusted us with this responsibility, and we don't take that lightly. Careful labelling, secure handling, and full chain-of-custody from the moment your ashes arrive to the moment your finished piece is returned.
DOG ASHES JEWELLERY
Dogs quickly become part of the family, and losing one leaves a real gap. Our dog ashes jewellery is handcrafted in the UK using sealed chamber construction or kiln-fired glass — never resin — so your dog's ashes are permanently and securely held within the piece. Each design is hallmarked in solid gold, sterling silver, or platinum, made to be worn every day and to last a lifetime.
The collection includes dog ashes rings, pendants, charms, and necklaces, as well as glass gemstone pieces where your dog's ashes are fused into the gemstone itself. Many designs can also be made using a lock of your dog's fur instead of, or alongside, ashes.
Once your dog's ashes reach our Worthing studio, we get to work crafting your piece, keeping you informed at every stage. Any unused ashes are returned with your finished jewellery.
CAT ASHES JEWELLERY
Cats can share our lives for 15 to 20 years, and when they go they leave a quiet kind of grief that surprises people. Our cat ashes jewellery is handcrafted in the UK using sealed chamber construction or kiln-fired glass — never resin — so your cat's ashes are permanently and securely held within the piece. Each design is hallmarked in solid gold, sterling silver, or platinum.

PET MEMORIAL JEWELLERY
What sets our pet ashes jewellery apart is how it's made. We use sealed chamber construction and kiln-fired glass rather than resin, which means your pet's ashes or fur are permanently and securely held within the piece. Each item is crafted in hallmarked precious metals — solid gold, sterling silver, or platinum — and arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity. From the moment your pet's ashes reach our workshop to the moment your finished jewellery is returned to you, we maintain full chain-of-custody. Every piece is designed, made, and finished in-house in the UK.
Our pet ashes jewellery includes rings, necklaces and pendants, bracelets, charms, and cufflinks — designed for everyday wear or to keep close at significant moments. Pieces can be made using your pet's cremation ashes or a lock of their fur, whether your companion was a dog, cat, horse, or another beloved animal. Bespoke commissions are available through our Custom Pet Memorial service.
The process is simple. You choose your piece, send us a small portion of your pet's cremation ashes (a teaspoon is enough — the rest stays with you) or a lock of their fur, and we craft your jewellery in-house over the following weeks. We'll keep you informed at every stage, and any unused ashes are returned with your finished piece.
We've been making memorial jewellery in our Worthing studio since 1996 — nearly 30 years of crafting pieces that bring comfort to families across the UK. Pet memorial jewellery should last a lifetime, which is why we work only with hallmarked precious metals, source ethically, and design pieces that endure. Every Ashes With Art piece is made to last.
PET ASHES JEWELLERY FAQ
Pet ashes jewellery is fine jewellery that holds a small portion of your pet's cremation ashes — or, in some cases, a lock of their fur. At Ashes With Art, every piece is handcrafted in the UK using sealed chamber construction or kiln-fired glass — not resin — so the ashes are permanently and securely held within the piece. Each item is hallmarked precious metal and arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity, designed to last as a family keepsake for years to come.
Yes. Our pet ashes rings come in two styles. The first uses our sealed chamber construction — once the ring is hallmarked, your pet's ashes are placed inside a small chamber within the ring and permanently sealed. The chamber can be marked with a paw print or other symbol of your choice. The second uses our kiln-fired glass technique — your pet's ashes are fused into a glass gemstone, which is then set into the ring like any other stone. Both options are made to be worn every day.
Yes. We can make most of our pet ashes jewellery using a lock of your pet's fur (or for horse owners, mane or tail hair) instead of cremation ashes — useful if your pet hasn't been cremated, or if you'd rather keep their ashes intact. We also have a dedicated pet fur jewellery range. Many designs can incorporate both ashes and fur in the same piece.
Just a small amount — typically a teaspoon, regardless of how big or small the piece. Many vets only return a small portion of your pet's ashes anyway; what we receive is enough either way. Any unused ashes are returned to you with your finished jewellery.
Our pet ashes jewellery starts at under £200 and runs through to bespoke pieces incorporating diamonds and other gemstones. We have designs for every style and budget, and every piece is made to the same high standard regardless of price.
Most pieces are completed within 2 to 4 weeks of your pet's ashes arriving at our Worthing studio, depending on the design and our current workload. Online orders are typically ready in around 2 weeks — additional steps like ring sizing, engraving, and posting can add a little time. Bespoke commissions and pieces with diamonds or other gemstones take longer — we'll always give you a clear timeline at the start.
Yes. Sealed chamber construction means your pet's ashes are permanently held within the piece — they can't leak, fall out, or be disturbed. Our jewellery is made from hallmarked precious metals (solid gold, sterling silver, or platinum) and is designed to be worn daily, just like any fine jewellery.
No — Ashes With Art is resin-free, and that includes our pet jewellery. Resin can yellow, crack, or degrade over time. Instead, we use sealed chamber construction and kiln-fired glass, which keep your pet's ashes securely held and the jewellery looking the way it did the day it was made, for years to come. Read more about why we don't use resin.
