CHOOSE WITH CONFIDENCE

CHOOSE WITH CONFIDENCE

We recognise that choosing a lasting memorial for your loved one might be difficult. There is no rush to make your selection, as the ashes jewellery can be created at any time. We can also arrange a collection service for the urn if you don’t want to collect the ashes yourself. And finally, the ashes are carefully stored and labelled while they are in our care so we can be sure to return all unused ashes to you once your design is completed.

CHOOSE THE VERY BEST

CHOOSE THE VERY BEST

Choosing memorial jewellery is a deeply personal choice. We offer a range of collections to suit every style. In addition to memorial necklaces, we also create rings, bracelets and fused glass art. We can help you to select the design that will fit perfectly with your lifestyle.

All of our jewellery is made by hand in our studio. We use precious metals such as sterling silver, gold and platinum to create stunning memorial pieces. The solid metal pieces are created with a hollow internal chamber and then sent for hallmarking at the Assay Office. Once returned, we fill the compartment with ashes or hair and permanently seal it. This is a unique technique that has taken years of development to perfect.

FAQ

What are the necklaces called that hold ashes?

Necklaces that hold ashes may be called cremation jewellery, memorial jewellery or secret compartment jewellery. There are many different styles to choose from, including plain silver pendants with a secret compartment for the ashes or hair. You can also choose to add the ashes to a glass gem sitting in a pendant setting. And finally, diamond jewellery offers a precious family heirloom that is the perfect keepsake.

How much ash is required for a necklace?

Only a teaspoon of ashes is needed to create a memorial necklace. We will return any unused ashes to you, ensuring no ash is wasted or left behind. Our craftspeople are incredibly respectful of the process, ensuring that only one piece of jewellery is worked on at once. It’s natural to worry about the ashes not making it into the final piece of jewellery and being misplaced in the workshop. However, we have strict systems to care for ashes as if they were our own loved one’s ashes. Everyone in the workshop has lost someone precious to them, and we all appreciate the trust placed in us to create memorial jewellery.

Is it weird to wear ashes in a necklace?

This is all down to personal preference. We don’t think it’s weird, and our customers don’t find it weird, either. The beauty of cremation jewellery is that it looks like any other piece of jewellery. Wearing a loved one’s ashes is a deeply personal choice, and no one has to know that you are wearing them. Many of our customers report that it brings them a lot of joy and comfort to have a small piece of their loved one with them at all times. If you are scattering your loved one’s ashes, creating a piece of memorial jewellery is the perfect way to hang on to a small amount of the ashes.

How do we fill a locket with ashes?

We have a few different methods for adding ashes to jewellery. Our Secrets Collection looks like ordinary jewellery at first glance, but it contains a hidden compartment where the ashes are stored. The compartment is completely sealed, so you will never have to worry about the ashes falling out or getting wet. We can also combine the ashes into a glass gem which can then be attached to a pendant. With this method, you’ll be able to see the ashes within the glass. Ashes jewellery can be as bold or as discreet as you like.

Can you shower with your ashes necklace?

Yes, you can shower with your ashes necklace. Our necklaces are made from precious metals, so you can wear them at all times without worrying about getting it wet. Some memorial jewellery is made from resin which is not suitable for long-term wear. This is why we don’t use any resin to create our ashes jewellery. To keep your jewellery looking at its best, please wear your item with care. We recommend the following: - Clean your jewellery using a jewellery polishing cloth. - When not wearing, store your jewellery on its own in the box provided. - Remove your jewellery when doing physical activity including sports, gardening, household tasks or work where your ring could get repeated knocks or scuffing. - Above all else, handle your jewellery with tender loving care and remember that your gemstone is made of glass and if mistreated could scratch, become hazy or chip. To keep it looking beautiful, we recommend regular polishing to maintain the shine. Satin finish jewellery will get shinier over time and can be refinished to restore the matte look.
