Ashes Necklaces & Memorial Pendants
Keep your loved one close, always. Our ashes necklaces are handcrafted in the UK to hold a small amount of cremation ashes — or a lock of hair — safely sealed inside an elegant pendant. Resin-free, set in solid gold, silver or platinum, and made to last as a true heirloom. Every piece in the collection is built around a sealed chamber or kiln-fired glass setting — never resin — so what you carry with you is exactly what you intended: your loved one's ashes, protected and permanent.
MEMORIAL NECKLACES, RESIN-FREE AND HANDMADE IN THE UK
An ashes necklace is one of the most personal ways to keep a loved one close — worn against the heart, held in your hand when you need it most. Our memorial necklaces and pendants are designed to hold a small amount of cremation ashes or a lock of hair safely inside the pendant itself, where they stay protected and never exposed to air, moisture, or resin.
Our custom-made designs are unique to our collection. Our sealed chamber memorial jewellery features a discreet chamber inside the pendant that holds the ashes discreetly — invisible from the outside, completely secure within. Our glass gemstone pendants take a different approach: ashes are kiln-fired into the glass itself, leaving them beautifully visible within the gemstone itself.
Every piece is handcrafted in our Worthing studio in solid gold, silver or platinum, hallmarked and built to last as a genuine heirloom — a memory necklace that can be worn every day and passed down to the next generation.
If you're choosing your first memorial necklace, it's worth understanding how the methods differ. You can learn more about how ashes are placed in jewellery or explore the difference between glass and sealed chamber methods before you choose.
HOW TO CREATE ASHES NECKLACES
Rather than turn cremation ashes into precious gemstones like sapphires or diamonds, we create stunning memorial jewellery that contains the ashes within a hidden compartment. We then finish the jewellery with beautiful stones, such as ethical lab-grown diamonds and sapphires. We can also create glass gemstones that contain the ashes suspended in the glass to create beautiful pendants or charms.
Our necklaces & pendants are hand-crafted from precious metals, including sterling silver, gold, white gold and rose gold. Choose the right metal for your jewellery.
Then, pick the stone size and other features. You can customise options like the chamber marker or inscription. Our cremation ashes necklaces are ideal for human or animal ashes. They help you create a lasting memorial for those you have loved and lost.
CHOOSE WITH CONFIDENCE
We know that choosing an everlasting memorial to a loved one can feel like an impossible task. There is no rush to make a selection, and your jewellery can be made at any time following the cremation. Some people wait years before making their final selection, and this grieving time can help them to make the right selection for their needs. All of the ashes we collect are carefully labelled and stored and any unused ashes are returned to you at the end of the service. We treat all ashes as if they were one of our own loved ones, ensuring you can feel confident leaving your loved one’s ashes in our care.
PERSONALISE FOR PERFECTION
Some of our collections can also be engraved with a unique message to further customise your necklaces and pendants for ashes and hair.

FAQ's FOR ASHES MEMORIAL NECKLACES
An ashes necklace is a memorial pendant designed to hold a small amount of a loved one's cremation ashes — or a lock of hair — sealed safely inside the pendant itself. Sometimes called cremation jewellery, memorial jewellery or remembrance jewellery, ashes necklaces let you keep a small piece of the person you've lost with you at all times. Ours come in two main styles: our Secrets Collection, where the ashes are sealed inside a discreet chamber within the pendant, and our glass gemstone pendants, where the ashes are kiln-fired into the glass and remain visible as a translucent memorial.
Only a teaspoon of ashes is needed to create an ashes necklace. We return any unused ashes to you, so nothing is wasted or left behind. Our craftspeople work on one piece of jewellery at a time, with strict systems for handling ashes — everyone in our Worthing studio has lost someone they loved, and we treat every piece of jewellery with the care we'd want for our own.
We have two main methods. Our Secrets Collection features a sealed chamber inside the pendant — invisible from the outside but completely secure within, holding the ashes safely sealed away from air and moisture. Our glass gemstone pendants take a different approach: the ashes are kiln-fired into the glass itself, leaving them visible inside the stone as a translucent memorial. You can read more about how ashes are placed in memorial jewellery to compare the methods in detail.
Most ashes necklaces are completed within 2 to 4 weeks of us receiving your ashes. Custom and bespoke pieces may take longer depending on the design, the materials, and any setting work involved. We'll keep you updated throughout the process and let you know when your jewellery is ready to be returned.
Ashes necklaces in our collection start from around £170 for sterling silver sealed chamber designs, with prices increasing for solid gold, platinum, and handcrafted glass gemstone pendants. Custom and bespoke memorial necklaces are priced individually depending on the design and materials used — please get in touch for a personalised quote.
It's a deeply personal choice — and no one has to know unless you tell them. Cremation jewellery is designed to look like any other piece of jewellery, and many of our customers tell us they find a real comfort in having a small piece of their loved one with them at all times. If you've scattered or are planning to scatter your loved one's ashes, an ashes necklace is one of the most meaningful ways to keep a small amount with you.
Yes, you can shower with our ashes necklaces. They're made from precious metals — solid gold, silver or platinum — and the ashes are sealed inside the pendant, fully protected from water and skin oils. This is one of the practical reasons we never use resin: resin yellows and degrades over time when exposed to water, but a sealed metal chamber or kiln-fired glass setting is designed to last a lifetime.
Resin is the most common method other UK ashes jewellery brands use because it's quick and inexpensive to produce. But resin has real limitations — it yellows over time, can degrade with exposure to skin oils and sunlight, and isn't designed to last a lifetime. We make every ashes necklace using a sealed chamber or kiln-fired glass technique instead, both genuine heirloom-quality methods built to outlast the wearer. You can read more about why we don't use resin here.
